The last chapter of Destiny draws near as we wait for news on the highly anticipated Destiny 2. Let’s take a look: Age of Triumph: More Like Age of ArmorThe folks over at Bungie have been very busy! They have crafted all new armor for the Vault of Glass raid, Crota’s End, and they have also made new ornaments for King’s Fall and Wrath of the Machine armor. This new loot is visually stunning, hands down. Some of the new armor will be sporting new energy effects from ornamentation which react to damage by deactivating and then slowly materialize back as the energy replenishes.
The Armor SetsFirst, we have the Vault of Glass armor, made up of enhancements from Vex technologies cobbled together by Guardians who brave the Vault of Glass. Warlock Age of Triumph ArmorThe new ornaments for these armors are obtained by completing the weekly Challenge Mode. Ornaments from all Challenge mode completions can be used on any of the new armor; You can complete the Crota’s End Challenge and take the ornament earned there and use it on a piece of armor from the Vault of Glass. This is a nice touch, as it allows Guardians to enhance their favorite new armor set first rather than being restricted to ornaments for specific armor from a specific raid. The amount of detail on all of the new armor is truly remarkable and definitely a good sign for what to expect in Destiny 2 when it arrives later this year.
