Separately, Galaxy S10 has been tipped to feature a smaller hole on its display in comparison with the one present on the Galaxy A8s.Talking first about the 5G handset from Samsung, the report by Korea Herald states that Samsung is planning to showcase its new 5G handset, expected to be the, in February and release the phone in March upon the commercialisation of 5G services in markets such as the US and South Korea. Citing industry sources, the report further claims that LG is also expected to launch a 5G handset at the MWC 2019.“LG had been expected to introduce 5G phones around May in Korea and the United States, but the company’s new mobile business leadership has changed the plan recently not to be a latecomer in the 5G market,” an industry official was quoted as saying in the report.The report suggests that the company can potentially launch an upgraded variant of LG G7 ThinQ with Qualcomm’s 5G chipsets at the event. This variant may or may not be called G8 ThinQ.Coming to the Galaxy S10 punch hole design, the next year’s flagship has been tipped to feature a smaller hole on the display in comparison to the company’s Galaxy A8s.
